San Francisco Rally - Protest Gov. Schwarzenegger

Come with CodePINK as we join a major protest against Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger at one of his exclusive fundraising events. Donors are expected to contribute up to $89,200 per head to hobnob with the governor. In exchange he has put the future of our state on the auction block to the highest bidder.

Across the country, from New York City to Orange County, nurses, students, teachers, parents, fire fighters and people who care about public health, education, libraries, our national guard, and social justice are standing up against the Governor.

We call on the Governor to:

Fund Libraries, Education, Social Services, not war
Bring our National Guard home
Stop his plan to privatize retirement security
End his corporate auction of Californians
Respect the law & enforce the Safe Staffing Law for hospital patients, as ordered by the courts
Keep his promise to pay back the $2 billion he borrowed from our schools

Tell the Governor and his high priced financial donors what you think about the attack on Patient Safety, Nurses, Public Education, Teachers and Working People.
